This hood is based on the one found in Skjoldehamn, but without the drawstrings on the hood. I made it from loden (wool felt, felted knitwear) and embroidered it by hand.
 The back gusset is slightly larger than the front gusset to allow for a better fit and to achieve less compression of the fabric in the neck/shoulder area.
 This hood is more suitable for narrower shoulders, or for women.
 If you have broad shoulders, the cowl cut can be made larger to order for more freedom of movement and a better fit.
 The outer material is made of 100% wool. The cowl is lined with a thin cotton fabric.
 On request, I can also make hoods with linen lining, or/and a hood with cords or ribbons for a more customized fit of the hood.
